Trilon Fibre Cement Roofing Sheets

Fibre cement roofing sheets ( and all other fibre cement building composite products for that matter ) are made from a mix of Portland cement, silica, water and wood pulp fibre.

The wood pulp or cellulose fibre used in this process is treated using a technique originally developed for “asbestos” composites, but is now also employed in the manufacture of non-asbestos, fibre reinforced cement composites.

Today’s fibre cement roofing sheets offer a great many advantages over other traditional building materials such as wood: they are weatherproof, both fire and termite resistant and well as being flexible, durable,and easy to work with both hand and power tools.

Recognized as one of the main providers of Thailand’s fiber cement roof tiles, Mahaphant is situated in central Bangkok with five domestic manufacturing plants in central and southern Thailand.

In Feb 2007 Mahaphant lauched the Trilon Kool Roof Series under slogan “Ha Huang Yen Hie Huang ( Ha Haung is cool and worry away )” Trilon Kool Roof is the 1st cool roof in Thailand its Total Solar Reflectance or TSR is 70% which basically means its can reflect up to 70%of the total Solar Energy hitting your roof and that can mean savings of at least 30% of energy cost.

TSR Testing – The measurement testing was performed with Shimadzu UV-VIS-NJR. Recording spectrometer in accordance with JIS R 3106 standard test method by King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)
